EAO Abstract submission opens.
Super Early Bird deadline until January 30th.
May 6th, 2026:
Deadline for abstract submission.
June 25th, 2026:
Deadline for registration at preferential rates.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the EAO’s official journal Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR) and referenced online (Impact Factor: 5.3 - the highest Impact Factor in the field of implant dentistry).
Position Papers on the most relevant topics and their clinical evidence and relevance will be published in the second EAO’s official journal, the International Journal of Prosthodontics (IJP) (Impact Factor: 2.1).
Please note that the registration of the presenting author (or one of the co-authors) to the EAO Congress 2026 in Lisbon is mandatory for the abstract publication and must be done before mid-July 2026. Register here!
25 travel grants (up to 400€) will be offered to EAO student members with accepted abstracts. Become or renew your membership for only 59€ VAT inc. at https://eao.org/membership/
Before submitting your abstract, we strongly recommend reviewing this document. It outlines the submission process, required structure, key dates and conditions for oral communications and ePosters.
For each topic, a winner will be selected by a jury during the EAO Congress 2026 and will win a cash prize of 1,000 EUR and a free registration for the next EAO-SEPES joint meeting in Madrid (23-25 September 2027).
